From time to time, we always receive requests from our area event photographers for high-end hardback photo books, but with a catch—small print run in about 50 or 100 units. As a general rule of thumb, offset printing usually cannot accommodate this need by most printers due to the small run; while this small print run falls into the forte of most short-run printers, their digital presses can only yield the results that are much to be desired, particularly in
skin tone and color depth, two areas most professional photo-graphers care the most.
